Preparing to Move

It has been a very busy time for me since I last made a post.  I have accepted a job in a different part of the country and as a result I am preparing my toys for moving. It does seem to be the season for people to be moving in Christchurch, as Frank is also moving to a different city as well and selling off some of his stash of 1/72 scale kits.

Check out his auctions here. He may also be listing some scenery items so keep an eye on this link.

  2. This burg ain't going to be the same...

The ships and the bufflers are ready to go. I stuffed up one of the latter (actually I had done it right, thought I had got it wrong on account of a bad diagram, and 'fixed' the 'mistake'). It would be a much easier kit to assemble with better quality diagram instructions...

I was going to do crows' nests in the ships, but decided against it as it was clear that it would be very hard to get it right. Had some trouble finding guns for the polacre, but they have been mounted. I don't know how secure they are, though...

Enjoy your new job, Brian, I reckon you've drawn a winner there.
    Cheers,
    Ion

    1. Thanks Ion,
The ships look amazing - I am very happy with them! Sorry I wasn't able to catch up with you again before leaving but I ran out of time! I will be coming down to visit so I will let you know when I am down next!

    1. Thanks! Unlike Frank I am trying not to downsize! I still have to get a set of Esci Japanese to you though!
